Small pleasures

Let’s get sentimental:

• New, surprisingly good music. Music that, somehow, speaks to you, like it was made for you.
• Your favourite drink coupled with the climate/time that is perfect for drinking that drink. Example: cold sparkling water on a summers day.
• Philosophy, written eons ago, that makes you think, “Fuck… yeah.”
• A satisfying meal. The meal that will make your day good and your next meal seem substandard, no matter what it is.
• The little victories you wish you could hold on to, that you wished memory and time would not erode.
• A day off.
• Finding the right words.
• Fleeting, unexpected attention.
• Humility in an exceptional, admirable person.
• Hot showers.
